Designer and instructor May Flaum is partnering with Buttons Galore to design a signature line of products, which launched at the CHA Mega Show in January 2016. She will be hosting a Day to Create on Saturday April 8th from 10:30 to 5:30.  Check out more details on the Classes tab

It’s fitting, May says, that her first product line is centered around buttons. "Crafting is all about the details for me. From a light splatter of color to a trio of little pearls, a seemingly random scatter of sequins to a cluster of buttons I love adding my own touches to my projects. I am so excited to dig into these buttons, pearls, charms, and more and get creative. From card making to mixed media, sewing projects to scrapbooks – this is a line of embellishments that will allow you to create in your own way, and in your own style. The finishing touches that bring that special something to your projects.”

Look who we met at CREATIVATION.

We are excited to announce that she is coming in May.
Check out the Classes Tab for the classes
listed on May 19, 20 and 21.

Julie graduated with a degree in Illustration  from Kendall School of Design in Michigan. She moved to Kansas City to work for Hallmark Cards as a greeting card designer. After 10 years with Hallmark she pursued her dream and moved to Santa Fe, New Mexico where she became a freelance artist and  had gallery representation for her one of a kind pieces of art . Wanderlust and desire hit again and she headed to California to study fine metal smithing and ceramics at California College of Arts and Crafts. Using  her variety of skills Julie has created her own mixed media style, and  has been working in this area for the past 12 years.  In 2017 she launched her line of SHRINKETS a line of shrink plastic  bead making tools using shrink plastic film. This product was finalist at Creativations best innovation for 2107.
